About Me

No Gravatar

Hi, my name is Dee. I am a mother of 2 young children, 1 girl and 1 boy. I used to work as a teacher in a nursery school before leaving to raise my own kids. I am married to ray, a man I very much love and admire and who gives me his love and devotion too. The avatar you see in my posts is a picture of me, taken only a ‘few’ years ago, which Ray has taken and ‘manipulated’ on the computer to look like a pastel picture

This whole website is about my interest and work in life coaching and allied subjects.

I am a qualified life coach who has long held an interest in the field. I am also qualified as a teacher of young children. I’d ove to work as a counselor, therapist or psychoanalyst when my own children have grown and left home but there’s a few years to go until that happens. In the meantime I work in the evenings as a life coach working with private clients helping them to overcome problems, understand themselves, and achieve goals.

Ray and I decided only recently that we’d try to live a frugal life of simplicity. Or perhaps, I should say, we’d try to change our lives for a more frugal lifestyle. This is a decision brought about partly by a drop in income recently with my quitting full time work and Ray having to find new employment. We both are enthusiastic about ‘green’ and environmentally friendly lifestyles and are seeking to adjust our life accordingly.

As I say, this website is about my work and interest in life coaching and other such aspects that interest me, such as;

  • simple living,
  • work-life balance
  • achieving goals
  • finding happiness
  • financial planning
  • and probably a thousand other things that crop into my head at whim!

Please do take the time to browse through the site, I cannot guarantee I will be able to update it regularly but I will try. Please do read some of the articles I write here and those I copy from elsewhere. Please also feel free to comment on anything here.

Please do not send me techie questions, though, all of that is handled by my hubby!
