Everyone possess limiting beliefs whether you want to admit it.
There are times when we want something so bad; yet we somehow
convince ourselves that we are not good enough to achieve it. We are
our own worst enemies, if you do not learn how to control your
limiting beliefs you will never accomplish anything. Humans are
creatures of habit; if you attempt to change anything in your life
your conscious mind will attempt to keep you exactly where you are.
You must realize that your conscious mind does not want anything
in your life to change. It wants to protect you from change. That is
the reason so many people remain stagnant in life and end up living
a mediocre life. They are scared of change and their conscious mind
keeps them from taking action. The conscious mind feeds you all
kinds of limiting beliefs like: you can not do that, you will fail,
you are safe here, anything that prevents you from taking action
towards your goals is your conscious mind stopping you from changing
things.
You can however learn how to quiet your conscious mind and begin
utilizing your subconscious mind to achieve whatever you desire.
Your subconscious mind does not know the difference between what is
right or what is wrong. It just listens to the orders you give it
and acts on your thoughts, feelings and emotions. However if you
continue focusing on your limiting beliefs; then your subconscious
mind is acting on those beliefs. You must learn how to change your
negative talk into positive talk.
This will take time and work on your part; however I know many
people who have changed their limiting beliefs into empowering
beliefs. It all begins with you finding out what you are passionate
about then taking small steps towards achieving it. As you take the
small steps and you hear anything negative take sometime and reword
what you heard into a positive statement.
For example: if your self talk told you "you can not do that."
Take that statement and reword it to state "I can do anything I
desire." As you continue doing this and adding positive affirmations
to it everyday; you will notice that eventually your limiting
beliefs will continue to dissipate. However you must not rely on
just changing your thoughts, if you are not willing to take action
you will be very disappointed. You can not accomplish anything
through thought alone.
Sure by thought you will begin attracting the opportunities that
you seek. However you must take action to become a success and reach
your goals. Begin believing that you can be do have anything at all.
The only thing holding you back is your fear; that is why you
possess limiting beliefs.
You can find all kinds of tools which will assist you to build
your confidence and your self esteem so that you can begin
conquering your limiting beliefs. It is time you begin investing on
yourself so that you can begin designing the life you truly desire.
